Top 20 Baby Names From 2000 To 2007

Is Your Uniquely Trendy Baby Name Really Unique?

See The Top 20 Baby Boy And Baby Girl Names For 2000 To 2007

This fun parenting article is a fabulous resource if you are looking for trendy and modern baby names for your new little baby boy or baby girl. These top baby name lists are also a great way to keep an eye on which of your favorite baby names are actually unique. You will find a complete list of the top 20 baby boy and baby girl names from the years 2000 to 2007.

Did you ever notice that you were one of three or even four Stephanie’s in your class in school?  I did!  It used to drive me crazy and I always swore I would never do that to my kids.  I also noticed that as the years went on, I meet less and less Stephanie’s that were younger than me.  That’s because Stephanie was the eighth most popular baby girl name the year I was born but by 1997, it had decreased in popularity and had actually been bumped off the top 20 baby girl’s name list.

Now, remember how I said I would never give my kids a name that would result in them being surrounded by kids with the same name? Yeah, I was wrong. I thought I was safe because I had loved this name since I was a little girl. It was not a new trendy, popular name like Hannah or Miley is expected to be in the next year or two. It was a traditional, even biblical name. Yet the day we walked into day care she became one of three Abigail’s!

On the positive side, this just shows that even the classic baby names can come back around again, so if you are looking for baby name ideas try looking back through popular names of the past. You may be surprised to find a name that you fall in love with. However, if you abhor the idea of naming your unique little baby boy or baby girl the same thing as hundreds of other babies they will be in school with, I recommend taking a look at these lists of popular baby names. I’ve included the years 2000 to 2007 here.
